My name is Amanda Weeks. I am a self taught artist from Las Vegas, “the City of Lights”, and even brighter characters. I like to dabble in different styles of art here and there. As my skills continue to grow so does my curiosity to utilize different mediums for added texture and impact. I have begun to incorporate almost anything I can get my hands on into my works as time goes on. I have drawers of random items like seashells, bird feathers, rocks, and snake shedding waiting for their time to shine!  My artwork is influenced by the colorfulness of the city, the quietness of early mornings, and the intimacy of creation. My goal is to have my audience take home a piece of “me” whether it be a lasting feeling or my physical artwork.

My work has been shown at Pearson Community Center in Las Vegas and at the Black Life Ordinary Art Exhibit, Las Vegas.
