The artwork represents the demands of freedom from the continuous war on Africa. Mother Earth is the oldest woman and Africa is her child. Everyone wants to make decisions for Mother without taking her and her child into consideration. Therefore Africa symbolically is a chip on Mother Earth’s shoulder.
